6-7 YEARS OLD
The children study programming on tablets and in workbooks. The teachers conduct games aimed at understanding the basics of algorithms and programming.

8–12 YEARS OLD
11–13 YEARS OLD

  • Currently, I have completed 10 full lessons with Algorithmics Coding School, and, needless to say, I have found each and every one of them immersive, fun, useful, and engaging. First of all, their online platform is easy to use, cleverly laid out, and meticulously planned. They have different levels which can be 'unlocked' every lesson, and in each level they have a few tasks (mostly in increasing difficulty) which mostly include replicating animations by Scratch commands. It is always very satisfying to complete a task (or a level, for that manner). I feel that my critical thinking skills and logic have and will improve with this class immensely, what with the thinking you have to do to solve a task or even the creativity required to whip up a game of your own creation! Secondly, the teaching methods of the teachers are also very effective. Teacher Afiq, one of the teachers, was my teacher for these lessons, and he is a very good-natured, friendly and good teacher. Not only does he manage to keep his talks engaging, but at the end of every lesson, I always understand what I have learnt and can easily remember it. He often tells me about the main concept to solve a certain level (each level is based around a specific coding gimmick) before letting me try the tasks, and is always there to lend a hand whenever I am stuck. Overall, I am extremely happy with my first 10 lessons, and would 100% recommend this coding centre (it's fun, engaging, and it's platform is user-friendly)
